Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon or rings. The item is swapped for another similar one and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't keep the original item's level and any wasted resources won't get compensated.

Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of the equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks and spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display a full description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the durability of the item. It's a great way for players who want to get an edge in battle, but don't want to spend a lot of money. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item to an entirely new piece of equipment.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for novice players. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is attained.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. Once the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of an item will increase by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. Once a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ based on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium along with a number Upgrade tokens.
Item upgrade components can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further increase the stats of an item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Some items benefit from upgrading less for their increased stats, but because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor), the level of the item, the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
Once this link met the required conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing it. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
